One Third Rule

Never Harvest more than one third of a single plants resources

If you think you wanted that flower, you should see how much the bees did. 
Only pick what you intend on using, or for identification purposes

Leave No Trace

Remain on designated trails and
pack it in - pack it out.

Etiquette

This keeps you honest and on your best behavior:

  • If in Doubt, Leave it Out: Only consume plants you are 100% sure of.

  • Harvest with Heart: Take only what you need and leave enough for wildlife.

  • Know Before You Go: Research the area to avoid contaminated sites.

  • Respect the Roots: Avoid uprooting entire plants unless necessary.

  • Mind the Seasons: Forage in the right season to ensure plants are at their peak.
