I am currently in Colorado, and am enjoying the change in scenery from the south east. Back are the Junipers and away the sweet gums. My research into Hurricane Helene has brought me to tears this evening. I believe this storm will have major, long lasting effects that no one is talking about. Atleast none that I've heard or read in my research.

I have begun my dive into learning the local plants of Asheville North Carolina. And I am glad I have taken the time to learn so many species in Southern Alabama as much of it translates well into Georgia, North Carolina, and Tennessee. I am excited to head back to the bus and continue preparing it to travel North.

The primary medicinal plants Im planning on using will be American Beauty Berry, Elderberry, Mullein, Usnea, and juniper berries. Paired with a handful of other variations of minor herbs.

I worked on the website for about 6 hours today and was able to add a lot of new sections. And I updated every page to work good on a phone now too. I'm going to continue my research into the government's response to this disaster tomorrow but it looks very lack luster. The supreme court voted to deny an increase on the budget of FEMA and now the justices are on recess for 6 weeks! I worry for those affected by this storm, it seems the government has abandoned us with minimal support. I guess I'll have to wait and see till I get there.

Excited to provide updates as I travel and continue my push to help those in need.

Hi Dalton. I ran across this today. I had no idea you were into medicinal herbs. Years ago I took a few classes in Boulder on native medicinals. Look me up when you get back to Colorado. I would love to talk with you. CC
